Using your Compost

Making compost is half the battle. How we use it is what is going to make a difference in bettering our health and how we participate in our society.

Plant things.

Make a mixture of compost humus, soil, and pumice or peat. Matching the plants moisture needs to the blend is extremely important. Using 100% humus is never a good idea.

This section is for giving ideas on some of the best indoor and outdoor plants for both consumption and beauty. Also, certain plants and plant families are not a good match for your compost, and that information will also be posted.

If you feel like you’ve got some experience in this matter I’m in need of writers with an expertise in plant propagation and soil types.
